After a very very springy March here, and after the warmest/weirdest February of my life, we got a nice snow day. It felt awesome, I love snow days. I baked, cooked, and painted all day long.
I've been in love with my new squeegee/scraper/spatula thing.
I work with cut painted paper a lot, but this week I started painting tracing paper with gouache and cutting that up. It's been really nice because you can use matte medium to "paint" the tracing paper down so flat. It's hard to tell it's even collage.
I finished some small 8x10 inch paintings on paper, which I put in my shop.
And I'm very excited to have finished binding my new sketchbook/art journal! This was one of the more complex bindings that I have done, personally.
I am really enjoying working into the book so far:
